What each condition level includes

The price gap between the levels comes from how much of the truck is opened up and renewed. Every refurbished truck is repaired in our workshop in Jiaxiang, Shandong, before export.

Standard refurbished

  • Engine, gearbox and rear axle are not dismantled
  • Filters, oil, belts and damaged wearing parts replaced
  • Oil leaks repaired, cab cleaned, full repaint
  • Tipping/lifting and brake systems tested

High-standard refurbished (full rebuild)

  • Engine, gearbox and axles dismantled and overhauled
  • Chassis sandblasted and anti-corrosion painted
  • Brake system, hydraulic seals, tyres and battery renewed
  • Cab renovated and road-tested under heavy load

Brand new

  • New truck built to your configuration
  • Choice of left-hand or right-hand drive
  • Body, tyres and options confirmed on the proforma invoice

If the truck will work in a quarry, a mine or far from a parts dealer, the high-standard rebuild is usually the safer buy because the engine, gearbox and axles have been overhauled. Buyers with their own workshop often choose the standard level and keep the difference. Remanufactured vs refurbished vs new HOWO trucks explains the trade-off in more detail.

What changes your price

  • Condition: standard refurbished, high-standard rebuild or brand new
  • Left-hand or right-hand drive for your country
  • Engine power and emission level (Euro II, III or V)
  • Body, tyres, cab and optional equipment
  • Quantity — fleet orders are quoted per batch

What the price does not include

  • Road transport to the Chinese port and export customs declaration
  • Sea freight. Rates move week to week, so we quote it when your truck is ready to ship
  • Import duty, VAT, port charges, clearing and registration in your country

Payment, delivery and checking the truck

  • Payment by T/T: 30% deposit, 70% before shipment.
  • The truck is usually at the Chinese port 30–45 working days after the deposit.
  • 12-month warranty on the engine, gearbox and rear axle (wear parts excluded).
  • Before you pay the balance, we send photos and videos of your actual truck, or show it to you on a live video call. You can also visit the factory.
  • Match the chassis number on the truck, the photos and the invoice: how to verify a HOWO chassis number.

HOWO prices by destination

The truck price in China is the same wherever you are. What changes is the drive side, the port, and the duty and paperwork in your country. Each guide below covers those for one market.

HOWO price questions

More answers on condition, inspection, payment and delivery: HOWO truck buyer FAQ.

How much is a HOWO 371 dump truck?

A HOWO 371 6×4 dump truck costs USD 16,000 – 20,000 standard refurbished, USD 20,000 – 24,000 as a high-standard rebuild, and USD 32,000 – 36,000 brand new, EXW Jining, China. The quotation fixes the exact figure for your specification and drive side.

How much is a HOWO tractor head?

A HOWO 371 6×4 tractor head costs USD 16,000 – 20,000 standard refurbished, USD 20,000 – 24,000 high-standard refurbished and USD 29,000 – 33,000 new, EXW Jining. A new tractor head costs less than a new dump truck because it has no tipping body.

Do the prices include shipping to my country?

No. These are EXW prices at our yard in Jining. Sea freight rates change week to week, so we quote freight to your port when the truck is ready to ship. Import duty, VAT, clearing and registration in your country are also separate.

Why is a HOWO cheaper from China than from a local dealer?

A local dealer's price already includes sea freight, import duty and taxes, clearing, and the dealer's margin. Buying from China removes the dealer margin, but you pay freight and duty yourself, so compare landed cost rather than the truck price alone.

Is a refurbished HOWO the same as a used HOWO?

A refurbished HOWO is a used truck that has been repaired and repainted before export. The standard level replaces wearing parts without opening the engine, gearbox or rear axle. The high-standard level dismantles and overhauls all three.

Can I buy left-hand drive or right-hand drive?

Yes. Tell us your country and we quote the correct drive side. Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia use right-hand drive; Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia use left-hand drive.

Can I see the truck before I pay?

Yes. We send real photos and videos of the actual truck, and we can show it to you on a live video call. You are also welcome to visit the factory in Jining, Shandong.
